Rams’ Odell Beckham Jr. talks about Von Miller’s recruitment

Von Miller, like Odell Beckham Jr., is currently a free agent. Both are subject to return to the Rams suggesting they want them to “run it back” and perhaps repeat history to win the championship game.

While the trade has been intense from other organizations with choosing the right members like Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and Carson Wentz, it seems like OBJ and ex-Denver Broncos player, Su’a Cravens, have been chilling for a moment on Twitter comments exchange with traded jokes and well wishes.

Cravens, OBJ trade jokes

The Rams are still in limbo with defensive tackle Aaron Donald as he has not yet decided his future with the organization. Despite already being in a negotiation with the Rams, his biggest reason for walking away is to spend more time with his children. However, if he does return, the Super Bowl Champion wants that what he asked Stan Kroenke, Rams owner, to be granted.

As reported by Greg Bishop of Sports Illustrated during an interview with Donald last week, the defensive tackle had several conditions as his terms for his signing back to the team.

“If he does return, Donald wants what he asked Kroenke for at the parade,” Bishop said.

“The Rams must re-sign critical players like Miller and Odell Beckham Jr. They must be positioned to make another run. More than anything, Donald says, McVay must be his coach.”

OBJ sees eye to eye on this matter. In fact, he still wants to be able to run it back together with Von Miller next season, as he stated during his trade jokes with Craven last Wednesday.

Hey @Broncos … Bring my boy @VonMiller back 👀💯

Replied by OBJ yesterday, he stated, “Sorrry big dawg….. y’all can’t have em back.”

Obviously, OBJ does want Miller to stay with the Rams. Perhaps, another reason is that OBJ knows that Miller himself is in the middle of negotiation with the Rams as a way to grant Donald’s wish. Perhaps, it could also mean what fans are waiting for, Donald’s return.

Meanwhile, the conversation between Beckham and Cravens continued with jokes and well wishes, including wishing OBJ a speedy recovery.

Likewise brodie. Link when you heal up ! Congrats on the newborn 💯

About Von Miller, OBJ

Miller spent 10 years of his career with the Broncos from 2011 to 2021 before joining the Rams franchise. He also won the MVP during the Super Bowl victory in 2015. Because of his long career, he was always linked to Denver.

Meanwhile, OBJ who is still in recovery is halfway through re-signing with the Rams as suggested by public rumors. Having mutual interest, head coach, Sean McVay confirmed that he does want OBJ back as much as OBJ wants to stay.

“This place, it feels good in my heart. It feels like a home,” OBJ stated.

Aside from an ACL injury, McVay does not seem to have any problem with taking back his championship rosters who were injured. On the contrary, McVay wanted to convince OBJ to return back.

“We definitely want to be able to get Odell back,” McVay told NFL’s Adam Schein. “I also know that there’s gonna be some other teams that probably want his services, but hopefully we’ll be able to convince him to come back and be a part of this thing.”
